The Department of Children and Family Services, Bureau of information Services is seeking one (1) highly qualified candidate for the Senior Application Developer (SAD) to support Ad-Hoc reporting. The position is located at 12440 E. Imperial Hwy, Ste 544 Norwalk, CA 90650.

Essential Job Functions

* Develops complex custom PL/SQL code.
* Develops specialized and complex reports, web-base and/or mobile applications.
* Understands the database structures and the use of the database tables.
* Develops reusable, Oracle PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, views, table functions and types.
* Troubleshoots and solves application software and system performance problems.
* Conducts data pulling and verification of data extracts.
* Analyzes performance of data databases.

Requirements

Individuals interested in applying for this position must currently hold the payroll title of Senior Application Developer.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

* Experience developing reports using Power BI or any Business Intelligence or report automation tools.
* Write complex code using Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft SQL, Python or R programming for applications or reports.
* Write business class layer by using object oriented programming language (e.g., C#, Java, etc.).
* Code, test and debug complex web/mobile applications to create new business applications and interface or maintain/modify existing business applications utilizing ASP.NET, C#, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, JavaScripts, AJAX, JSON in Model View Controller (MVC).
* Write web services to interface with multiple internal and external systems.
* Develop work plans and technical documents covering system architecture, conversion, integration testing, and implementation for a system or complex enhancement system.
* Lead in the identification, analysis and resolution of complex application problems.
* Perform database management and create data dictionary library to load data into database.
