Senior App Dev - Java

Location: Plano, TX

Duration: 3 months

Description:

* Our technology stack for UI includes Angular 4+ with Typescript, Node.js, CSS/SCSS and HTML and our backend is build based on the micro services architecture using Java, Spring Boot and PostgreSQL and Tomcat.

The ideal candidate should:

Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities

Continuously improve software engineering practices by adapting innovative ways

Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies

Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions

Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community

Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity

Qualifications:

* At least 5 years of experience developing front end web applications
* At least 4 years of experience in Angular js and Node js
* At least 5 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, Tomcat
* At least 5 years of experience in JavaScript, Typescript, HTML 5, and CSS
* At least 3 year of experience with Protractor, Karma, or Jasmine

Preferred:

2+ years of experience with AWS technologies

2+ years of experience with SQL and No-SQL databases

5+ years working in an Agile environment

2+ years of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) experience
