Senior Administrator for Middleware

Position Overview

This role is to provide senior level technical operational support, administration and maintenance of the Application Integration and Middleware platforms, ensuring services meet operational targets, achieve high availability and performance, whilst managing other aspects such as lifecycle management, continuous improvement, and delivering on partner projects.

Key Responsibilities

Operational support for global platforms and components, for integration and web technologies, like: JBoss, Apache, Webmethods, API management platforms, etc.

Install, configure, upgrade, troubleshoot, and proactively monitor to ensure availability, performance and capacity.

Manage incidents, problems, changes and releases.

Represent team in partner projects as needed and deliver on commitments.

Develop business and technical know-how within area of expertise for the function.

Comply with OLAs and quality and CSV validation requirements.

Requirements

* Senior level hands-on technical skills, operational background, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, troubleshooting, capacity planning and root cause analysis.
* Working knowledge of JBoss, Apache, F5, Nginx, Node.js, Webmethods, JBoss DV, API management

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or business field, or equivalent experience. Industry recognized certifications in the relevant technology areas are considered a plus.
* 8+ years of increasing technical IT experience
* Experience on at least one scripting /automation technology (e.g.: ansible, jenkins...), and APIs development and integration
* Prior use of DevOps, Lean or/and other agile methodologies.
* Knowledge and working experience in application infrastructure administration for one or more of the following platforms is a must: JBoss, Apache, F5, Nginx, Node.js, Webmethods, JBoss DV, API management
* Operational understanding and knowledge/administration experience of technologies associated with Web Application Hosting, Application integration, EII
* Desirable: Prior use of DevOps, Lean or/and other agile methodologies.
* Desirable: Prior experience working in a Global organization, considered a plus.

Additional Information:

* This position has regular on-call duty
* Some out-of-business-hours maintenance work.
* Able to travel as required.

This position is eligible for Relocation.
