Job Description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior 1, Deloitte Platforms, Converge Health in New York, NY and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Gather business requirements and perform current state system analysis. Document client needs and create technical and functional specification documents to achieve those needs. Lead clients through walkthroughs of Product Demos, and provide training to clients on the tools and processes involved in project life cycles. Create and configure technical environments for new clients. Design multitier ETL applications for data warehousing, reporting, and data analytics, to extract and reconcile data scattered across multiple sources. Working with client team members to review and validate data. Manage and lead the technical team in developing and maintaining system data warehouses and ad-hoc reports. Work alongside vendors on system failures, infrastructure issues, and database monitoring. Develop and maintain system and client documentation, run-books, and education decks. Onboard new clients for upcoming projects. Assess deadlines and create project plans that will quickly and effectively achieve client goals. Conduct weekly client calls to ensure deliverables are on track.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field.


* Five years of progressively responsible experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.


* Must have five years of experience with:
* Developing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) codes, performing Unit Testing, and providing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support using Informatica Powercenter, Informatica Data Quality, MS Structured Query Language (SQL) Server, Oracle, and Procedural Language/Structured Query Language (PL/SQL);


* Developing PL/SQL procedures and UNIX Shell Scripts for streamlining performance by reducing the traffic between Database (DB) and Application, eliminating redundancy, automation, and introducing code reusability using UNIX, Oracle, SQL Server, Toad, and PL/SQL;


* Utilizing data warehousing tools including Informatica, Business Objects Reporting, Qlik Sense, Active Batch, Python, and SQL for data processing, reporting and visualization;


* Utilizing MS SQL server, Oracle, Macros, MS Visio, and Python to provide impact analysis and estimation, and conduct system testing;


* Leveraging version control tools including Dimensions, Artifactory, and Scheduling tools to code, deploy, and schedule jobs;


* Using Informatica, SQL Performance Tuning, and Shell scripting to perform current state system analysis and performance tuning of applications;


* Performing data validations using Advanced Excel, Informatica, and SQL Server database queries.




* 15% travel required.
