DivisionDefense - E3/Sentinel's Defense Division supports customers across the Department of Defense, including the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Department of the Navy, National Guard Bureau, Office of the Inspector General, and Washington Headquarters Services. Position Overview

E3/Sentinel is looking for a Security Specialist to support our client in Arlington, VA. The selected candidate must be able to provide comprehensive security support for both personnel and facilities within a fast-paced client environment with direct impacts to national security. Duties include:

Responsibilities

* Prepare and process personnel security requests through appropriate approval authority
* Develop and implement appropriate security directives and guidance, as applicable
* Support the day-to-day oversight of a SCIF to include ensuring compliance with physical security standards and directives for CSA certification and accreditation
* Manage daily Special Access Program (SAP) operations
* Ensure compliance with SAP security requirements per DoD SAP manuals and USAF Instructions, including special communication standards
* Investigate security incidents, conduct risk analysis, and prepare written reports that identify contributing factors and specifying preventive action
* Provide classification management and classification marking guidance, as needed

Required Qualifications

* High-school diploma
* Minimum of five years relevant experience related to the tasks outlined above
* Active TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications

* College degree, any field or discipline
* 10-15 years of relevant experience related to the tasks outlined above
* Security-related experience within the USAF
