Job Description

TASC, an Engility Company, is seeking an Information Security Specialist for a 3 month or longer assignment.

Duties Include:

* Assists Government Security to implement the Information Security Program.
* Develops and implements Information Security standards and processes in accordance with DoD 5200.01 Volumes 1-4 and Air Force Instruction 16-1404.
* Coordinates walk throughs of collateral areas to provide Government Security with written reports of how well personnel are following Information Security Training.
* Ensures personnel requesting access to classified systems are provided links to Derivative Classification and Marking Classified Information Training prior to system access.
* Identifies, reports, and resolves security violations.
* Develops a written activity security instruction that shall include provisions for safeguarding classified information during emergency situations and military operations.
* Provides guidance for the correct marking of classification information and ensures classified information has the proper coversheets and classification labels affixed.
* Ensures all working papers are marked in accordance with current regulations.
* Provides guidance for safeguarding, storage, destruction, transmission, and transportation of classified information.
* Provide security education and training for the Information Security Program as required.
* Responsible to prepare documentation and wrap classified material for shipping.
* Responsible for incoming and outgoing classified mail and to track receipts.
