Job Description

Summary

The role of the Field Installation Manager is to troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain access control systems, electronic key systems, locking devices, visitor management systems, video surveillance systems and any other related hardware.

In addition, this position will oversee technical security functions to safeguard company facilities and critical assets, as well as manage the administration and technical upgrades/enhancements to security systems across the enterprise.

This individual will also coordinate people and materials necessary for the prompt and complete installation of all jobs.

Responsibilities

* Lead the development of an effective physical security program designed to mitigate identified risks to facilities/critical assets and to maintain continuity of operations.
* Facilitate the implementation of industry best practice for physical and technical security elements, including access controls, lighting and security signage, CCTV and video management systems, alarm systems, communications systems, visitor management, guard force operations, emergency response, etc.
* Manage life-cycle maintenance programs for physical and technical security systems, and oversee installation, and integration of new hardware and software multiple sites.
* Coordinate with stakeholders for installation of security device/system placement and operability.
* Conduct location specific security audits and assessments to validate compliance with company security policies and standards.
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders including executive management, other corporate groups and teams, and business lines.

Qualifications

* Bachelors degree in a business field or equivalent experience
* Experience with security management systems (e.g., Axis, Genetec, etc.)
* Five years of experience working in a security-related discipline
* In-depth knowledge of security industry standards, best practices, and methods
* Ability to manage full life-cycle implementations for core security technologies
* Leadership skills to set and execute goals on strategic and tactical levels
* Communication and relationship-building skills to interact with and influence all levels of the organization
* Critical thinking and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Professional certifications (e.g., PSP, CPP, PMP, etc.)

Additional Notes

* Probationary period of 90 days
* Individual must be able to pass a background investigation and drug test.
* Individual must not have any alcohol or drug-related convictions or suspensions within the past three years.
* Individual must be able to read and understand instructions in English as well as possess good oral & written communication skills.

Individual must be available to work variable hours and willing to travel.
