Position will be based in Westchester, IL.

Key Responsibilities Include:

* Ability to juggle multiple security projects and issues at multiple locations for IAA and ADESA at all times.
* Strong communication skills with Operations, IT, vendors and manufacturers needed
* Strong ability to troubleshoot needed
* Meet with vendors and manufacturers to gain knowledge in access control systems
* Travel to locations for surveys and implementation of access control and camera systems
* Maintain access control systems
* Renew and/or de-activate key cards for corporate offices
* Ability to promptly respond to meet field needs or issues and change daily priorities often.
* Ability to prioritize necessary
* Camera troubleshooting in field and remote troubleshooting for software, firmware, hardware and electrical issues.
* Will work closely with Security Analyst and Project Manager. Will need to be able to trade off responsibilities with as issues become more or less complex.
* Knowledge of Excel and Outlook needed
* Office 365 knowledge is a plus
* IT background/knowledge is a plus



Additional Duties Include and are not limited to:

* Ability to pre-program equipment and ship out to branches for replacement
* Export video footage for branches when needed in case of break in, theft, or employee related issue
* Edit video footage for branches or law enforcement in the case of break in, theft, or employee related issue
* Promptly respond to camera and/or encoder outages, troubleshoot, and find solution (VERY IMPORTANT)
* Verify if camera outage is correct or if outage was temporary
* Contact branch to go through troubleshooting to address issue(s) (VERY IMPORTANT)
* Follow up with branch to ensure troubleshooting occurs
* Ability to work with various levels of field users that have some or very little computer background
* Coordinate with Network Ops regarding status network connectivity
* Test equipment returned from field to verify it is in fact broken
* Ability to reach out to repair company to explain needed repairs & coordinate with repair company
* Coordinate with monitoring company to ensure replacement equipment is reprogrammed with rules and proper masking
* Coordinate with monitoring company to reduce false alarms by:
* Adjusting the cameras "region of interest"
* Adjusting arm times with the manager
* Ensuring authorized activity is being called in ahead of time




* Review and approve invoices for service repairs and replacement equipment
* Ability to organize and maintain appropriate amount of replacement equipment in inventory.

Gallagher Electric Fences:

Follow up with branches regarding electric fences not being armed or alarmed

Guard Dog Electric Fences

Follow up with branches needs to occur for location not arming their fence.

Additional Information - Security Coordinator

* Currently there are over 5,100 security cameras, with 1,450 of them monitored.
* 234 locations with cameras that we manager. 160 of those have monitored security cameras and 74 have non-monitored cameras.
* Over $17M has been invested in monitored security cameras over the past seven years.
* There are at least 5 projects remaining in 2019. There will be at least 10 more projects in 2020.
* 52 Gallagher electric fences have been put on a central server for monitoring and around 101 Guard Dog electric fences are monitored

Educational Requirements and Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline required.
* 0 to 2 years experience in a corporate office setting or communications field.
* Customer service, multi-tasking, organizational and prioritization skills are essential.
