Search Engine Optimization Consultant - NYC
The scope of responsibilities relates to technical and content consultation, including page and site-development advisement, keyword strategy, CMS gap analyses and recommendations, international search issues, UX considerations, mobile-specific optimization, and more. The consultant will also play a key role in the tracking and reporting of key performance metrics for natural search.

We implement and operate the technology platforms that enable personalized content, commerce and marketing user-centric experiences. In doing so, we transform our clients' marketing and engagement operations into modern, data-driven, creatively focused organizations. Our team brings deep experience in creative and digital marketing capabilities, many from our Digital Studios.
We serve our clients through the following types of work:
* Cross-channel customer engagement strategy, design and development
* (web, mobile, social, physical)
* eCommerce strategy, implementation and operations
* Marketing Content and digital asset management solutions
* Marketing Technology and Advertising Technology solutions
* Marketing analytics implementation and operations
* Advertising campaign ideation, development and execution
* Acquisition and engagement campaign ideation, development and execution
* Agile based, design-thinking, user-centric, empirical projects that accelerate results
3-5 years of full-time agency or other client-facing SEO experience preferred
Breadth of agency expertise:
Experience helming site migrations and redesign
Experience pitching a plus
Ability to compile and analyze search data and metrics and present formal recommendations to leaders using PowerPoint and/or MS Excel
Ability to lead training sessions or instructive meetings with diverse groups
Deep understanding of web analytics - ability to create diagnostic or analytical reports in Excel required, along with experience with KPI definition and reporting
In-depth experience with SEO tools like DeepCrawl, Screaming Frog, x Brightedge, Conductor, Search Consol
Excellent verbal and written communication skills:
Comfortable interacting regularly with both technical subject matter experts as well as business owners of all organizational levels, presenting complex information in a way that is easy to understand, and tailoring it to different audiences, including Deloitte leadership (e.g., present clear business choices or actionable steps, rather than a technical breakdown of the problem)
Ability to offer and defend solutions to business problems based on experience and best practices
Collaborative working style to build relationships, including collaborating with global colleagues on a global platform
Strong project management and vendor/supplier/agency management skills
Ability to triage and prioritize many competing needs, monitor and maintain momentum on a number of concurrent projects for numerous internal stakeholders
Experience building brand awareness using digital channels a plus
Ability to work in a matrixed organization; experience in large corporate setting a plus
Minimal travel (40% travel expected)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now, or at any time in the future.
Experience with VoC and UX testing (e.g., A/B, Optimizely) a plus.
Other technological - experience with web development a plus:
HTML, CSS - especially Adobe Experience Manager (AEM, aka "CQ" products)
Experience with Salesforce and Hybris sites a plus
Experience optimizing for Baidu a plus
