The Agency is interested in IT Modernization efforts and Re-skilling and Workforce Transformation. Re-skill and up-skill employees impacted by IT modernization efforts, evolve workforce to more 21st Century skill sets and work practices, and enable the workforce to drive successful IT Modernization efforts going forward utilizing in-house talent.

The ScrumMaster facilitates the agile process and is accountable for removing impediments to allow the agile team to focus on their development tasks. The ScrumMaster will perform sprint and release planning, facilitate daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, perform risks and issues management, and track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress. Will convey and understand the importance of Product Increment and the Definition of Done. Will help the product owner maintain the product backlog to ensure needed work is understood. Will ensure the teams are practicing agile principles as related to the IT engagement. Participates in all customer driven software development gate reviews (requirements, analysis, design, develop, test). Adhering to the agreed upon software development methodology, the ScrumMaster will apply agile practices to improve a client's business process. May be asked to perform complex program assignments in analyzing, defining, design, and implementing cost effective information technology solutions.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in an IT related field and six (6) years of project management experience, with at least three years experience performing Agile Scrum duties.



Required Skills:

* Certified Agile ScrumMaster or Agile Certified Practitioner.


* Experience with Jira, HP ALM or other tools that assist in agile team management and progress reporting.


* Strong written and verbal skills.



Clearance Requirement:

* Must be US Citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust.
