Scrum Master

Location: Dover, NH

Duration:5-6 months

Description:

* Previous client experience desired! Data Experience project experience required.
* Knowledge of software development and relevant domains/products/journeys typically acquired through a Bachelor`s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline and a minimum of 4 years' experience in Agile software development including coaching on agile methodologies. Extensive knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, methodologies, architectures and technical standards. Ability to coach team and stakeholders on Agile practices and ensure adherence to Agile methodology. Able to resolve conflicts; strong mediation skills. Strong communication skills, to deliver complex messages and teach new concepts. Strong problem solver with ability to coach and mentor a team to maximize progress and potential.
* Guides the scrum team on organization on how to use scrum and Agile practices and methodology.
* Oversees scrum process and coaches the team; facilitates transparency, inspection, and adaption.
* Lead daily scrum, sprint review, and planning meetings to ensure full team engagement. Manages interdependencies between agile teams.
* Works with the Product Owner to support short and long-term release planning, and to keep work backlog health and prepared for execution.
* Shields the team from external interference to enable optimal functionality and productivity
* Anticipates and addresses potential or actual impediments to team delivery (cultural barriers, logistic challenges)
* Fosters close cooperation across all team members; encourages cross-training and team support
* Builds a trusting and safe environment where problems may be raised without fear of reprisal.
* Administers metrics tracking and other duties on behalf of the team.
