You will act as a facilitator of the Agile process for the product owner and the development team. The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating the Agile ceremonies for the development teams. The Scrum Master takes an active role in mentoring and coaching teams related to the flow of work. The teams the Scrum Master will coach develop a cloud based SaaS Retail Analytics product using angular.js, HTML5 and node.js, with various SQL and NOSQL data sources.

Your role will include assisting the product owner in managing the backlog.

Coaching and mentoring teams in Scrum and Kanban. Facilitating sprint planning meetings, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives. Identifying project and cross-team dependencies and working with other Scrum Masters to manage these dependencies. Removing impediments for product owner and development team. Calculating team velocity or cycle time while tracking process improvement initiatives and participating in Research and Development activity as needed to progress ShopperTrak's new or improved products, processes, or formulas.

What we look for

You will have a ScrumMaster Certification (CSM) coupled with a Technical Background in Agile Software Development, so you will be a solid Scrum Master. To be successful in this role you will need to be an excellent communicator, with emotional intelligence and leadership skills, experience of managing distributed team is also needed. Kanban experience is a must.
