Description

Senior Business Analyst and Scrum Master is responsible for building Business Requirements by collaborating with multiple stake holders and documenting them by following Agile methods. The Scrum Master is responsible for promoting Agile values and principles within the development team and the organization. The Scrum Master does anything possible to help the team perform at their highest level. This includes: helping to remove impediments to progress, facilitate meetings, and doing things like working with the product owner to make sure the product backlog is well - groomed and ready for the next sprint. The Scrum Master acts as a buffer between the team and any distracting influences.

Job Description:

* Fully responsible for documenting detailed technical requirements
* Assists the team by showing them their planned velocity vs. historical velocity, to make sure the targeted work can be accepted
* Collaborates closely with the Development and Testing teams throughout the SDLC to ensure technical feasibility, requirements are understood, and development is aligned.
* Manages scope creep and clearly communicates with business stakeholders on feasibility and effort analysis
* Holds requirements gathering sessions, captures meeting minutes, documents clear and concise requirements, follows up on action items and is accountable for requirements documentation
* Helps Product Owner prepare through multiple levels of planning and road mapping discussions
* Experience using Atlassian Tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Sparx for building Business Process Models.
* Holds requirements gathering sessions, captures meeting minutes, documents clear and concise requirements, follows up on action items and is accountable for requirements documentation
* Enforces team ground rules and cultural norms
* Manages scope creep and clearly communicates with business stakeholders on feasibility and effort analysis
* Reviews action items and next steps and holds team accountable for follow through
* Facilitates Sprint Reviews; Works with Product Owner and team to determine the agenda for the review

1. Experience working in Agile Environment.

2. Business Analyst related certification.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Sciences or a related discipline and 4 years' experience; will also accept eight (8) years of specialized experience plus a high school diploma.
* Minimum of three (3) years of related experience as a Windows System Administrator, preferably with a MSCE certification for Windows 2012 or higher.
* Must be able to obtain a Public Trust
* Certified Scrum Master being part of a small scrum team.
* Business Analyst Certification.
* Enthusiastic and Driven IT Business Analyst working in a fast-paced Agile Working Environment delivering high quality work products.
* Highly motivated and organized servant leader who has ability to be part of multiple scrum teams.
* Ability to use Atlassian Tools like JIRA, Confluence and Enterprise Architect Sparx.
* Ability to try new processes and strive for continuous Improvement of Scrum Teams delivering Quality software.

Desired Skills:

* Ability to manage Small Scrum teams and foster high performing self-managed teams.
* Assist Customer with defining software road map that aligns Business and Technology.
