Symetra's Output Services IT team is looking to hire an experienced Scrum master. In this role you will have the opportunity to participate in cross functional efforts that are strategic in the success of Symetra.

You will work with the Output Services IT team and business partners to plan and deliver key solutions which are used by Symetra to deliver correspondence to our customers and distributers.

Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or discipline related to industry. Work experience may be substituted for educational credentials.


* 3-6 years of IT and business/industry work experience. 2+ years as a Scrum Master on Agile projects


* Experience driving Projects in an AGILE/SCRUM or SDLC Waterfall Methodology with a solid knowledge of DevOps. Knowledge of the Agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum and Kanban.


* Familiarity with the lifecycle and release process and Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, VSTS, Jira, and/or Rally. Experience with Agile and project management tools such as Agile team software (Rally, Azure Dev Op), Microsoft Project and other Office tools.


* Participated or materially helped in the transition from non-lean practices (i.e. waterfall) to lean-practices like Scrum.


* Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects, collaborating across business and IT teams. Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with implementation teams and management.


* Certified Scrum Master, Agile Certification, PMI-ACP, or other agile experience preferred.
