Description

SAIC is looking for someone who can assist in PM duties including: developing and refining program concept and specifying deliverables; identifying and maintaining relationships with transition partners, source selection support; analyzing technical performance, deliverables, and publications; and continuously surveying and summarizing government, academic and industrial research.

Assist the Test and Evaluation team in evaluating research plans, system specifications, generating test routines, analyzing performance, developing test reports, analyzing library modules and software design documents

Communicate complex research results in written and spoken form to diverse audiences.

Assist in conducting site visits or holding teleconferences with technical performers, advisors and technical evaluation teams.

Proactively analyze and critique whitepapers, proposals, progress reports, test reports, and suggestion mitigations strategies for potential performance risks.

Perform research literature searches and review technical materials.

Draft programmatic and technical documents including briefings, source selection and review materials.

Qualifications

TS/SCI clearance or eligible to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in Computer Science; preferably with study and experience in programming language development, cryptography, systems security analysis and tools for automation of security analysis. Experience in all three areas preferred.

A minimum of two years of experience in design, development and test of complex software systems within the past 10 years; five years of experience preferred.

Ability and willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and sometimes unpredictable environment.

Ability and willingness to proactively and independently identify potential technical and programmatic risks and advise PM.

One year experience dealing with intellectual property issues in technical areas is preferred.

High degree of proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Excel).
