Job Description

Description: The Joint Staff Special Access Program Central Office (JS SAPCO) is seeking to contract professional to provide administrative, engineering, technical, and other support services as required to provide planning, monitoring, research, evaluation, assessment, and documentation for the JS and other Government agencies. This effort is to provide administrative and technical SAP security services necessary to support the JS SAPCO mission.

Duties:

* Provide SAP security procedural support for a specific Program and serves as the subject matter expert for the SAP Program Manager and subordinate activities.
* Support the Program Manager, process access request, maintain document control, develop Security Classification Guides and Program Security Plans, support annual inspection cycles.
* Knowledge of SAP disciplines security concepts, principles, and practices necessary to review, analyze, and resolve complex issues; skills in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating security programs to meet mission requirements and improve the overall security program.

Abilities:

* Must be fluent in the English language and have the ability to read, write, and comprehend technical documentation.
* Must have thorough knowledge and demonstrated expertise in using computer software; i.e. proficient in MS Office Suite applications of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.

Education/Required and Desired Experience:

* Bachelors degree.
* Six (6) to eight (8) years demonstrated Special Access Program (SAP) support knowledge. This experience should have been achieved within the past seven years.
* Preference may be given to applications with the following DoD Certifications or Training such as: DSSA Courses in SAP Mid-level Security Management, Introduction to Special Access Programs, Introduction to DoD Personnel Security Adjudication, Derivative Classification, Protection of Personally Identifiable Information, and JPAS/JAMS Virtual Training for Security Professionals.
