Position Summary

Assists with the development and maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program. Customizes and configures workflow to allow the integration of client/server applications. Tests ERP layout to ensure the system is meeting corporate needs.

Essential to this Position

Menasha Packaging Company is looking for a SAP Analyst that will focus on participation in SAP Implementation and Business Transformation project(s). This individual must possess an understanding of one or more business functions/processes and be viewed as a credible representative in this area of expertise. This individual will work with other resources within Menashas business units, IT staff and consultant resources in the development and support of application processes and the integration of business solutions within Menasha Corporation. This position will be based in Edison, NJ with potential travel up to 50% to other Menasha Packaging locations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist Team Lead and other Analysts in the designing and implementing technology-enabled solutions for complex business solutions as part of a high-talent team.
* Participate in all phases of the application development cycle including needs assessment, planning, testing, training and on-going support.
* Participate with development of systems requirements, functional specifications, designs and prototypes, including both As Is and To Be documentation.
* Perform SAP configuration and testing to satisfy requirements.
* Identify and define SAP application interfaces, enhancements, and conversions.
* Recommend solutions for requirements that are not met by existing applications. (May entail modifications, enhancements and/or new software).
* Assist with testing, training, and implementation of practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
* Assist in preparation and delivery of end-user training.
* Provide start up and post implementation support.

Technical Knowledge/Experience:

* Functional/technical proficiency in one or more areas of SAP, with 5-6 years experience, including multiple full lifecycle SAP implementation experiences. Desired functional areas include any of the following Logistics Execution (LE), Inventory Management (IM), Materials Management (MM).
* Prior experience with Shipping Receiving process development and hands-on support.
* Prior experience desired includes hands-on functional experience in an SAP implementation with a focus on end-user solutions, business process mapping and end-user support.
* Ability to analyze As Is and To Be business processes and identify fit/gap for business requirements against SAP system functionality.
* Ability to collaborate with business counterparts, having a strong desire to excel and be committed to gaining exposure to multiple business processes while further developing your career.

Education/Experience Required:

* College degree preferred in computer science or business administration with a computer science concentration.
* Proficient with SAP and able to provide support/problem solving.
* Minimum (5) five years performing system analysis, business application implementation, business requirements and support.
* Work experience in a manufacturing organization with strengths in Shipping Receiving and Inventory Management.
* Experience in systems development (Traditional life cycle), systems analysis, business application implementation and support.
* Project Management experience, including: developing a project plan, control and administering the plan.
* Knowledge of Shipping Receiving processes and common end-user tasks.

* Knowledge of and experience with implementing purchased application software and integrating It with company applications, data bases and technology platforms
* Knowledge of application testing and ability to design, plan and execute application testing strategies and tactics to ensure software quality throughout all stages of application development
* Knowledge of and ability to utilize a variety of specific tools and toolkits for the development and support of applications
