As a Software Design Engineer with SAP Concur Travel you will be working in a leading edge technical environment on award winning products that are transforming the travel industry. In this role you will enhance and maintain Concur's web based applications.Software development teams at SAP Concur mean small and diverse Agile teams, where individuals are empowered to work independently on assignments, collaborate in a team environment and be your whole self. The Software Design Engineer requires you to have vision and ability to see projects through to completion.

Responsibilities:

* Development of software using .Net (C#) in MS Visual Studio, SQL Server, HTML/CSS, JavaScript
* Manipulate data by writing SQL scripts
* Assess/modify existing code and recommend improvements
* Generate thorough documentation on application processes and techniques
* Demonstrate the ability to work systematically and logically to assess situations, resolve problems, identify causes and anticipate implications
* Multitask and prioritize work
* Play a leadership role in estimating, developing, testing and delivery of the desired software architecture in an Agile environment

Required Skills:

* 2-4 years of experience as a Software Design Engineer, preferably with high performance SOA and/or Web Development
* Code tracing diagnosis with performance analysis
* Solid knowledge of standard algorithms and data structures.
* Proficiency in an Object-Oriented language (Java, C++, .Net / C#)
* Familiarity with relational databases (SQL Server, ODBC)

Desired Skills

* Full stack experience with C#, SQL, .NET framework, XSL/XML
* Proficiency in JavaScript, JQuery, HTML/CSS and/or MVC/Razor
* Experience creating RESTful web services
* Working knowledge of AWS services
* Able to build admin interfaces in HTML and CSS
* Couchbase or a similar document oriented database
* Experience with Git and SVN
