About our team:

SAP Concur Platform Core Services team delivers application services as the core platform Concur's market-leading SaaS apps are built upon with the goal of increasing product development velocity towards a secure, scalable, and stable product architecture. Our platform also provides the key services enabling robust apps and integrated solutions with our clients, our App Center partners, and our B2B strategic partners.

In this role you will:

* Own product management for features and platform capabilities of Concur's Platform
* Conduct analysis and design activities for the areas you own
* Maintain roadmap based on the needs of Concur, third party application developers, and customers, incorporating on-going analysis of best in class platforms.
* Collaborate effectively with a globally distributed team often with engineering spread remotely around the globe
* Work with your team to plan, build, launch, and support the products you own
* Stay current with industry trends and evaluate 3rd party open source products with the goal of recommending buy or build decisions
* Passionately protect Concur's brand by ensuring partners use platform services appropriately realizing the full potential of what our platform can provide
* Support, communicate, and advocate product plans to mixed audiences including senior leadership
* Incorporate feedback and changes effectively while proactively establishing mitigations which may challenge the success of your products
* Manage risk to the products you own



What we're looking for:

* Bachelor's degree; technical degree strongly valued
* 5-7 years' experience as a Technical Product/Program Manager in a platform scale SaaS environment
* Deep understanding of software platform issues, API's, and modern internet applications consuming distributed API's
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments and varying stakeholder networks
* Knowledge and practice of agile development methodologies
* Track record of successfully delivering products to market against aggressive deadlines
* Experience with prioritizing and executing on a product plan, including getting alignment with stakeholders


* Domain expertise in areas such as web services, event driven architectures; and resilient and scalable backend services
* Specific experience with REST APIs and JSON Resource Design
* Effective communications skills, focusing on the presentation of technical and business information
