Description:

4M Research is looking for an SAP Senior Developer / Architect that will oversee all aspects of very complex business area customer information into detailed enterprise application design. Successful candidate will Interact with customer to oversee analysis of alternatives and provide recommendations and Oversee preparation of programming specifications, diagrams and coding logic flowcharts for enterprise application modifications and installations. Position requires extensive knowledge of relevant application and computing environments and application development tools/languages. Candidate must possess superior understanding of system requirements and Federal and DoD architecture standards as well as capability to analyze very complex solutions and interpret requirements into architectural artifacts.

Job Duties:

* Work with client teams and other teams to arrive at enterprise solution that is scalable, adaptable and in synchronization with ever changing business needs.
* Provide subject matter expertise, design expertise and engagement management for data and analytics solutions, especially for the SAP platforms
* Deep knowledge of the overall SAP BI/BW/BW on HANA and experience with assisting clients to understand the myriad of options available to them. This should include following the Federal and DoD Architecture standards as well as the program architects' recommendations and guidance in following the program methodology
* Provide guidance in the team members design and development of SAP objects ensuring the program methodology is followed. Provide assignments and follow up with assigned work to ensure team members stay within the program schedule.
* Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress
* Help prepare reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties
* Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
* Build strong internal relationships with other teams across the organization

Required Qualifications:

* 12+ years of experience or Bachelors degree or Masters Degree plus 10 years total relevant experience
* SAP certification a plus
* Active Security Clearance or ability to obtain Security Clearance (or company may sponsor qualified/suitable candidates)
* Willingness to travel to Aberdeen, MD and Huntsville, AL and Ft. Lee, VA (25-50%)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with IT strategy, solution and enterprise architecture
* Deliver full life-cycle SAP reporting solutions (including Prepare, High Level Design, Detailed Design, Build, Test, Deploy, Train and Support phases) in Business Intelligence (BI) using SAP HANA and BusinessObjects platforms or hybrid BW scenarios
* Deep experience in SAP HANA data modeling using Calculation Views (Graphical and Scripted) as well as Virtual Data Models, HANA Data Provisioning and HANA security
* Experience with BODS, SAP Data Services, PI or other data provisioning methods
* Knowledge of SAP ECC data model and analysis is a must
* Experience with the SAP BusinessObjects suite of products including Lumira, Design Studio and Web Intelligence
* Knowledge of BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation) and/or BPC on HANA preferred
* Business Intelligence knowledge and experience
* Analytics architecture experience
* Knowledge of the business for which the enterprise architecture is being developed
* Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a team of technology advisers through all phases of the technology life cycle, including requirements definition, architecture, design, development, implementation, conversion and testing
* Interpersonal and leadership skills servant-leadership , collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills
* Strong analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand
* Knowledge of IT governance and operations
* Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering
* Project and program management planning and organizational skills
* Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating operations with technology skills
