The Ariba Seller Apps team has embarked on an audacious vision to build cloud applications to bring sellers and buyers closer together like never before. We are looking to build several applications that add value to both ends of the spectrum and create a smart global profile for the supplier to meet any procurement business needs without any friction. We are looking for a strong backend Java engineer who is passionate about architecting and building

Responsibilities:

* Design, build and deploy highly scalable cloud based Java applications
* Design and build rest APIs
* Collaborate and innovate with Product, Design and other engineering teams to deliver seamless and consistent user experience for millions of users
* Resolve complex issues within your area of expertise and supports others in resolving complex issues,

Qualifications:

* Minimum BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related experience.
* At least 5 years of experience in application development using Java
* Deep understanding of REST principles and experience implementing APIs.
* Good working experience with SpringBoot, Message Queue, SQL and Junit automation test.
* Solid Object Oriented principles and design patterns
* Experience with Microservices, Jenkins, Github.
* Experience in Docker or Kubernetes is preferable.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
