Position Summary

The CRM Systems Engineer is responsible for development and integration of business processes within Salesforce.com including researching technologies, building proof of concept and executing innovative solutions for a modern sales organization. This position will work on existing Salesforce.com implementations, identifying inefficiencies and improving them or developing on new business requirements and integrating App Exchange options. The role requires developing strong relationships with business owners and technology partners to proactively anticipate emerging needs and drive initiatives that bring operational efficiencies and improvements.

General Duties and Responsibilities

(This is a representative list of the general duties the position may be asked to perform, and is not intended to be all-inclusive)

* Serve as the subject matter expert for solution architecture that will include configuration, development, integration and customization of complex environments
* Strong understanding of Salesforce.com Declarative Programming and Administration (Develop Code, Custom Objects, Visual Force Pages, Reports, Apex, Workflows and Assignment Rules)
* Design and develop solutions primarily on the Salesforce.com Platform using Apex Programming Language and Visual Force including developing Lightning flows and components
* Develop software solutions using MS tools, Salesforce.com API Framework, and 3rd Party API's
* Design and develop internal services and APIs for Salesforce.com to interface with internal business processes and systems.
* Work hand-in-hand with the business architect on the best ways to solve problems and to define efficient processes. Extensive experience collaborating with the business side and executing on what is needed
* Liaise with internal clients to understand their business needs in developing technical solutions through Salesfoce.com
* Resolve Salesforce.com design problems, technical limitations and provide guidance to members of own team in a senior capacity
* Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
* Demonstrate ability to influence business teams on maximizing the applications being developed leveraging the best solutions
* Work on various AppExchange Products such as Highspot, DocuSign, Workato and Mindtickle
* Expertise with Einstein, Pardot, marketing automation tools, and CONGA
* All other duties as needed or required

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
* 7+ years of Salesforce.com administration and customization
* 7+ years working on implementations of the Salesforce.com application
* Intermediate level of proficiency in Salesforce.com administrative tasks such as creating user profiles, roles, custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, workflow rules, validation rules, reports, dashboards
* One or More Salesforce.com Certifications Demonstrating Current Knowledge as a Developer
* Experience with data management and relational database design and familiarity with SQL data formats, table joins, ETL, etc.
* Demonstrable business process knowledge of Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
* Agile / Scrum background
* SFDC Administrator Certification or SFDC Developer Certification preferred
* Strong Knowledge of Apex and Visual Force
