Project Description
Scope of Work:
Individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including technical and functional capabilities; ability to execute on highly complex or specialized projects.
Review and advise on Salesforce platform solutions to ensure they comply with leading Salesforce architecture and development practices, align to internal integration patterns and practices, align to internal security and compliance needs, and adhere to CRM program architecture guiding principles.
Document as-is and to-be architecture solutions. Present complex solutions options and benefits to key technical program stakeholders.
Collaborate with product owners, business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and technical team members to translate business needs into Salesforce technical solutions.
Collaborate with other solutions architects, enterprise architects, product owners and Salesforce developers to solve technical challenges, while leveraging technical best practices and solution patterns for the Salesforce platform.
Set the strategy and management plan for the Salesforce Sandbox environments. Coordinate with internal security teams for user management and single sign-on (SSO) setup and maintenance.
Recommend integration patterns and support integration solutions to internal applications, data sources, and 3rd Party applications.
Set-up and manage DevOps approach, including migration of development modules between Salesforce environments
Supervise deployment management process
Responsibilities
10+ years progressive experience working as an application developer, application development lead, or application architect.
5+ years working with the Salesforce platform, working in Lightning/Communities, APEX class / coding, Custom coding, Process Builder, Triggers, Visualforce, Workflows, CSS, HTML, Templates and Web Services
Salesforce certifications preferred: Application Architect, System Architect
Exposure to any of the following tools and applications is also plus. Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Exact Target), MuleSoft, ZynBit, Azure, Identity Connect, Gearset, Bitbucket, Provar, Splunk
Experience with Agile Scrum delivery framework
Experience working with distributed external resources and vendor teams (onshore and offshore)
Daily Tasks
Providing guidance on Salesforce matters and being a subject matter expert for the business
Supporting business teams in training and education needs on Salesforce product knowledge and adoption
Monitoring new Salesforce release features/functionality and providing recommendations for process improvements and advice on the suitability and flexibility to the existing Salesforce implementation

Building and maintaining documentation of key project artifacts, processes and system functionality and tools using Agile Scrum methodologies
Owning Salesforce Administration responsibilities and implementing all administration needs
Generating visualization and reports/dashboards on Salesforce to satisfy business reporting requirements
