Job Description

Designs, programs, tests, implements, documents and maintains computing applications. Gathers and evaluates end user requirements. Writes and compiles code and constructs database objects based on documented design and analyzes information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other application architecture requirements. Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality. Identifies and resolves programming or application architecture problems. Reviews system performance and identifies and recommends improvements. The Boeing Company is currently seeking a mid-level Robotic Process Automation Developer to join their growing team in Everett, Washington. The ideal candidate will fully understand the process of robot creation & will ensure the successful completion of sprints and in-work items (WIP board). Primary Responsibilities: Develops process automation in Blue Prism Responsible for rate of production and lead time Responsible for initial high-level sizing Works with the architect and the team to prove technical integrity Responsible for conducting forward leaning technology investigations Negotiating with architect on technical approaches Removes most bottlenecks Enforces robot development best practices Ensures motivation of their team Boeing is the world's largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial airplanes and defense, space and security systems. Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.). Required Skills/Experience: This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee Must possess a Technical Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree (a technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific, or information technology field) 3+ years of experience with automation & robotic applications development Preferred Skills/Experience: 5+ years of experience in application development 3+ years of experience developing root cause corrective actions 3+ years of experience in Agile, Kanban, Lean, Automated Testing and/or continuous integration work 1+ years of experience with Blue Prism or another RPA platform Strong technical understanding of automation platforms and activities Able to lead solution design efforts, and direct team to achieve project, service, and CoE objectives Develop acceptance and integration scenarios, use-cases, and process mapping Support deployment activities to ensure successful deployment of defined capabilities Interfaces and participates in service and development discussions across cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in solution development and implementation Strong technical understanding of Blue Prism or another RPA platforms Strong technical skills to mentor and/or coach the development team Able to lead design, development efforts, and direct team to achieve project objectives Maintain technical responsibility for solution/project delivery Define RPA system architecture, and be able to effectively assess long-term and/or short-term implications of architectural decision Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
