Job Description

Oversees system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture. Provides complex problem resolution, root cause analysis and technical support for delivery systems. Participates in the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems. Plans and coordinates system changes. Administers user system access and establishes safeguards to protect information to meet security requirements. Oversees activities to monitor system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning. Mentors, leads and trains others.

The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team within Digital Common Services is currently seeking a highly productive, self-motivated Senior System Administrator to join our team in Everett, Washington.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Define hardware requirements and configurations
* Oversees hardware procurement and installation
* Install, configure, and maintain RPA software in various environments and instances
* Manage and refine PowerShell scripts, Remote Desktop, Citrix XenApp, Windows registry and group policy configurations
* Experience with SQL server and Autosys
* Install and configure various required software on servers
* Research and troubleshoot platform and server related issues
* Mature disaster recovery planning to maintain business continuity
* Monitor system performance to support capacity planning
* Support architecture design studies for technology refresh planning and implementation
* Evaluate and effectively communicate complex system problem identification and resolution
* Investigate, test and deploy platform updates

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).

Required Skills/Experience:

* This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
* Technical Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree (a technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific, or information technology field)
* 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator

Preferred Skills/Experience:

* Experience administrating Microsoft Windows servers and Citrix desktops
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with team members, customers and other organizations to identify and resolve issues
* Ability to solve challenging problems; Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve various potential problems
* Ability to collaborate effectively within a LEAN team as well as work multiple tasks independently with minimal direction
* Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
* Windows operating system working/support knowledge
* Experience with security policies and audit best-practices
