The work you perform will help you develop an understanding of:

* the different third-party relationships an organization may have within its supply chain and across different industries;
* the drivers which affect behaviors of business partners, suppliers and customers; and
* the operational processes and controls required by an organization to effectively manage and monitor its supply chain and third-party relationships.

Extended Enterprise Advisory Services offers a broad variety of services spanning a variety of industries, for example, software licensing inspections in the high-tech industry, franchise audits in the retail industry, debt covenant reviews in the financial services industry, patent based royalty inspections in the manufacturing industry, advertising agency audits in the consumer business industry, lease revenue audits in the real estate industry and revenue sharing audits in the life sciences industry.

Responsibilities:

* Demonstrate advanced understanding of business processes, software licensing, software asset management, IT risk management and audit methodologies
* Serve as a subject matter advisor on software contracts, licensing and associated risks
* Develop, coach and supervise a team of Senior Consultants and Consultants
* Perform sophisticated data analyses to understand client's business and identify risk
* Assist in the selection and tailoring of approaches, methods and tools to support service offering or industry projects
* Understand client's business environment and basic risk management approaches
* Demonstrate a general knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, Deloitte's products and service lines
* Actively participate in decision making with engagement management and seek to understand the broader impact of current decisions
* Generate innovative ideas and challenge the status quo
* Build and nurture positive working relationships with clients with the intention to exceed client expectations
* Facilitate use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement products and services
* Identify opportunities to improve engagement profitability
* Participate in and actively support mentoring relationships within practice
* Excellent potential for 1) playing lead role in designated tasks of the project team in gathering, organizing and analyzing data; 2) making major contributions in assuring products/deliverables meet contract/work plan and; 3) strong potential for growth and acceptance of additional responsibilities

Applicants need the ability to adopt a pragmatic approach to dealing with situations where confidentiality is important or where our work is of a sensitive nature. Helping maintain our client's strong professional relationships is integral to our business.

Qualifications:

* 5+ years of related experience within professional services, project management, or IT related services
* Demonstrated experience in software license compliance, software license management, or software asset management with an understanding of the associated organizational infrastructure (e.g. relevant internal controls, business processes, governance structures)
* Understanding of software licensing, contracts, software metering, and methods to audit software deployment/usage


* Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment with challenging client service delivery targets and timelines


* Strong leadership skills with a passion to develop and mentor staff


* Understanding of top-tier software vendor licensing is a plus
* Experience across one or more of the following is a plus:
* Active Directory


* Unix/Linux platforms


* VB/PowerShell/PERL/Macros


* VMware administration


* Software License Management


* Software asset management tools (SCCM, Altiris, Flexera, Snow, etc.)


* Strong proficiency in basic PC applications including Excel and PowerPoint


* Strong teaming skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities


* Strong written and verbal presentation skills including the ability to translate technical information to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences of varying seniority levels


* Willingness to travel 50% within national and global travel expectations


* BA/BS in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems Administration, Engineering or related field; PMP®, CISA® or CISSP® certification is a plus


* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
