Responsibilities:

Description:

Provides NGA Segment Integration expertise to the technical planning and full Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) lifecycle implementation (e.g., requirements definition, cross-segment integration, enterprise test planning, and milestone readiness planning and assessment). Serves as the dedicated Segment Integrator and SME to the NTM-P baseline, working with the Segment PMO, development contractors, and Mission Partners to oversee decomposition and implementation of NTM-P requirements into an integrated system-of-systems solution that acknowledges technical, schedule, cost constraints.

Successful candidates must have demonstrated knowledge and hands-on systems engineering experience with:

* NGA Segments comprising the end-to-end Tasking, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TPED) process, infrastructure, system architecture and interfaces to other Segments
* GEOINT exploitation and production capabilities, to include associated applications that enable the softcopy exploitation and production of finished geospatial intelligence products
* Agile and Waterfall NGA Segment Milestones and Control Gates (e.g., Agile Release Planning Events (RPEs), Waterfall Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), Enterprise Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), assessing Segment readiness and actively participating in events
* Configuration control of NGA Segment baselines (e.g., requirements, interfaces, services, schedule effectivities) at the NGA CM and Segment PMO levels
* The SE&I lifecycle for a NGA Segment from requirements development, design assessment, and integration to testing stages and transition

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Serving as the NTM-P SME during technical coordination to support the new NTM-P data/products; participating in TEMs, demos, and test activities
* Coordinating NTM-P data (development and test) needs in conjunction with the NTM-P test systems engineer
* Participating in Milestone Readiness Events (waterfall and agile) to evaluate NTM-P readiness
* Reviewing NGA and Joint RFCs to assess and identify functional and operational baseline impacts; coordinating NTM-P impacts to NGA and Joint RFCs
* Assist the program risk owner in developing mitigation plans, reporting on burn-down, and driving to closure
* Coordinating and participating in NGA and Joint enterprise test activities and events to confirm the NSG enterprise design solutions satisfy specified requirements
* Participating in Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) and Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) to serve as focal points for managing project execution and resolving enterprise issues

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

* Active TS/SCI clearance (current within 2 years, with current SSBI - within 5 years)
* BS in Engineering, Physics, Math, or a comparable field, or equivalent experience
* 11 years of Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) experience (e.g., capabilities implementation and SLC process experience).
* Strong Hands-On Requirements Engineering experience/SME experienced as RFC technical responsible engineer
* Demonstrated knowledge of the NGA Segments comprising the TPED cycle
* Ability to coordinate efforts with NGA Segments to drive cross-segment integration and capture and document schedule, test, transition events relevant to planned enterprise-level capabilities development & implementation
* Ability to work independently and within a team environment
* Good customer teaming skills; ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
* Strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills

Desired Qualifications:

* MS in Engineering, Physics, Math, or related scientific or technical discipline
* SME in processing with image phenomenology's
* Understand ICD-503 Security Overlay A, B, C and applicability of associated multi-level security requirements
* Experience with Agile engineering and development methods (user story generation, sprint/scrum development, backlog management, and test-driven development)
* Knowledge of NSG change management processes (e.g., RFC process) & baseline change management/governance
* Knowledge of the NSG cloud architecture/implementation
* Knowledge of integrated master program plans/schedules and strategic planning/analysis/scheduling/program management
* Strong Technical Writing and Editing experience and expertise documenting complex integrated TCPED systems
* Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary project teams
* Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, and ability to lead technical
