Remedy Developer (with Clearance) role now available in Quantico, Virginia!

Work you'll do

Our selected Remedy Developer will be responsible for providing technical support in requirements development, concept development, research and development, integration and test, and performance analysis on a BMC Remedy system. As a contributor in the development of Remedy solutions which will require regular use of ingenuity and creativity with a high degree of technical sophistication, you will function with general direction, and will have frequent inter-organizational interactions.

Specific responsibilities include:

* Expert knowledge of administering and programming of BMC Remedy ARS
* Develop and administrator BMC Remedy ARS applications and implementation of new functionality including forms, workflow, notifications, filters, escalations, menus, and other related components
* Responsible for upgrading, installing, and configuring the BMC Remedy ARS, Mid Tier, CMDB, Incident, Problem, Asset, SLM, Service Request (ITSM suite), Dashboard and Analytics, Knowledge Management, Smart IT, Digital Workplace, and Smart Reporting
* Responsible for populating the populating the CMDB utilizing BMC Discovery, SCCM, and other disparate discovery applications
* Provide application support including developing technical documentation, assisting with the development of end-user documentation, interfacing with application owners and the IT Help Desk, and properly tracking all support efforts
* Use an Agile development approach for projects
* Responsible for integrating ARS with a database engine and email engine
* Create process, data and workflow models for integration with third party components
* Maintain existing business processes and implement new processes using Remedy ARS and other components
* Support the conduct of Integration & Test activities, including integration of software and hardware at the system level, conduct of tests and evaluation of test results, and performance of system-level requirements verification.

Our Systems Engineering team delivers large-scale software applications and integrated systems, and assists clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. We develop service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems, and we deliver technology enablement to support CIO services transformation.

Systems Engineering professionals focus on key client issues that impact the core business by maximizing operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation. Our teams deliver a wide range of services, including application architecture design and optimization, application modernization, business process management and solution integration, custom application design and development, and large-scale technology delivery program efforts.

Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship is required, as is an active Secret Security Clearance

Required Skills

* Experience with versions ARS 9.1 and higher
* Experience with Digital Workplace Basic (DWP Advanced and Business Workflow a plus)
* Experience with BMC Smart Reporting
* Experience with versions Discovery 11.1 and higher
* Experience with Microsoft Server 2012 and higher
* Experience with MS SQL Server
* Experience with Behavior Driven Development approach
* 8570 compliant (Security+CE)
