Job Title: SW Configuration Manager

Location: Fairfax, VA

Description: Seeking a Release Engineer to work in the Fairfax, Virginia office.

Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):

* Provide day-to-day administration, scheduling and support for assigned program/portfolio
* Develop new and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines for program/portfolio administration
* Maintenance of existing and creation of new documents for all sections of the team
* Coordinating
* Application team
* Project Managers
* Developers
* Testing teams
* Build teams
* Business
* Management


* Logging/tracking/managing issues and resolutions
* Maintain build and release calendars/schedules for the portfolio
* Maintain VersionOne and ALM for the portfolio
* Create and maintain Change Requests from ServiceNow
* Facilitate releases during business hours and off hours
* Environment Management
* Maintain metrics and content reports for the client
* Facilitate meetings
* Maintain version control of the code repository ensuring the branches are merged into the trunk properly
* Escalations as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

Required -

* B.S. in Computer Science, Business or related major
* 5+ years of DevOps or a Combination of Change, Release, Configuration, Build and Knowledge Management.
* Experience with AWS Applications
* Experience in Agile and Waterfall Environments and Methodologies
* Experience with Change Management Tools such as ServiceNow
* Experience with Version Control Systems such as SVN or GIT
