Job Description

Overview: Army Resiliency Training Centers provide instruction in the areas of: resilience, positive psychology, and performance enhancement to U.S. Army and Department of Defense (DoD) personnel, their families and Department of the Army (DA) civilians at 30 Army Resiliency Training Centers and Warrior Training Commands (WTCs) within the United States and Overseas. The Knowledge Manager provides design, development, and user experience direction for the Strategic Communications (STRATCOM) group's products, which include brochures, press releases, social media postings and various other digital products.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

* Provides design, development, and user experience direction for the STRATCOM products, which include brochures, press releases, social media postings and various other digital ARD products.
* Develops user interfaces, interaction designs, and graphic designs for all ARD products and provides consultation to the command on related products acquired from external sources.
* Maintains public and internal websites; the internal website serves as a knowledge. management portal to maximize the sharing of information and products across geographical dispersed sites.
* Performs other responsibilities as required and supporting contract work performance requirements.

Required Skills, Education, Experience & Abilities:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in the information technology field.
* At least six years of experience managing interactive, design, and creative projects.
* Possess an expert understanding of web and mobile technologies (including but not limited to object-oriented JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Objective-C, iOS).
* Experience with the latest web standards (including but not limited to HTML5 and CSS3)
* Possess extensive experience with server-side technologies (including but not limited to PHP and ASP.NET/VB).
* Possess an expert understanding of web design and user interactions; must be able to effectively communicate with users, both internal and external, at all levels from the basic user to executive leadership.
* Applicants must successfully undergo a National Agency Check (NAC) background investigation and possess an Interim Secret or Secret Clearance at the start of work performance.
* Good command of the English language which includes the ability to read, write, understand and effectively communicate.
* Organized and experienced multi-tasker.
* Military Veterans and Spouses encouraged.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
