Primary Responsibilities:

* Apply the right level of test automation at the right application layer using the most appropriate tool


* Build tools that help developers be more productive, write better code, and test it themselves


* Influence developers, making it easy to do the right thing, doing it right the first time; and deploying a test vision, overcoming objections, finding ways to create a win-win


* Responsible for developing and executing comprehensive suites of Automation test plans and test cases, maintaining and adding to existing automation framework, continued evaluation of test cases for inclusion in regression, automation for newly integrated features, and development of toolsets/Automation frameworks to augment QE and Development testing


* Work closely with Software Developers and other QA engineers in scrum teams to deliver the highest quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner


* Create, maintain and execute test plans and test cases against our software platforms, estimating test efforts, analyzing and communicating test results, defect tracking and participating in day to day QA Activities



Required Qualifications:

* 2 years of test-engineering/tooling/development & Automation experience
* Solid understanding of core Computer Science concepts
* Excellent coding skills in Java/groovy/vbscript
* Scripting skills in Python/Perl/Shell
* Automation using Selenium Webdriver, JUnit, TestNG, JMeter or similar tools
* Experience with databases (MySQL/Oracle/SqlServer)
* Excellent troubleshooting skills to root cause complex issues

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working on an agile team
* Experience on designing Automation Frameworks and test harnesses
* Demonstrated skill using code repositories, preferably Git and SVN
