Job Description

Reporting to Manager, SQE, the Quality Data Systems Analyst I collaborates with technical and engineering resources to handle Supplier Quality related data. Responsible for logging information, evaluating, and following up in multiple systems to support processes including new part submissions, supplier audits, corrective actions, inspections plans, supplier scorecards, and other activities as required.

Responsibilities:

* Support SAP and business process enhancement projects to ensure systems are aligned with current business objectives.
* Provide analysis and modeling support for Quality-related initiatives. Including writing test scripts and scenarios as well as testing them (User Application Testing)
* Assist with ensuring projects and tasks are completed on time and business requirements are delivered from the Quality perspective.
* Perform problem root cause analysis of business processes and system problems and recommend solutions that prevent problem reoccurrence.
* Partner with IT on functional designs, process changes and continuous improvements.
* Supporting new supplier set up and training of the Shure Supplier Quality Systems and Supplier portal.
* Aid in process improvements related to Quality Systems and general supplier quality activities.
* Creating job aids for Supplier Quality and Quality systems.
* Deliver training to new Supplier Quality Engineers, as well as, other Quality and Business teams.
* Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

* Minimum of Associate's degree required in Business, Data Analytics or Engineering
* 1-3 years of years of professional experience with at least 1 years of ERP (i.e.SAP) working knowledge
* Familiar with quality tools such as New Part Submissions (PPAP), Supplier Audits, Corrective Actions, Supplier Score Cards and Inspection Plans is preferred.
* Knowledgeable of various systems (SAP or ERP, Minitab, and Quality software) and ability to support improvements within the software tools.
* Capable of flexible and agile problem solving critical thinking.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint required.
* Exposure to Six-Sigma or other continuous improvement processes a plus.
* Excellent communication skills - both formal and informal (i.e. with all levels of management and cross divisionally).
* Preferred experience working in and excelling in a multifunctional team environment.
* Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
