Quality Assurance Specialist

Participate in the support of the donor center quality processes to ensure a high quality collection process. Work with other Quality Assurance Specialists in a collaborative working environment to facilitate seamless high quality customer service. Assist in the development and implementation of competency and proficiency programs to monitor quality, purity, and potency of blood. Assist managers with development, format, and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures.

This position is FT Monday to Friday with varied shifts schedule

Requirements

Experience: Three years of recent experience in a donor center, transfusion service, or related field. Familiar with Federal Drug Administration, American Association of Blood Banks, College of American Pathologists, and Occupational Safety Hazard Administration

Education: BS degree in Medical Technology or related field
