Why is this role critical?

As a member of the engineering organization, the QA Software Engineering Lead is responsible for quality strategy, planning, and execution against naviHealth's flagship product suite. The position assits Process Improvement leadership, responds to day to day escalations, and oversees resource allocation. This position will interface directly with many cross functional teams, create QA resource plans, and execute on multiple projects at the same time.

What you will be accountable for…

* Coordinate and lead cross team testing efforts and contribute hands-on to ongoing releases of our flagship product suite in conjunction with onshore and offshore engineering teams.
* Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering leadership to assess quality assurance needs and define overall quality strategy.
* Develop quality assurance project plans, test scenarios, test data and test environments, and continually work to optimize tools, techniques and overarching approaches.
* Drive the definition and adoption of quality best practices, tools, and frameworks.
* Establish quality KPIs and drive product quality and engineering velocity.
* Monitor and review the work of Software Engineering Team and ensure standard processes are followed based.
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.

What you will need to be successful in this role…

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
* At least 7 years of Software Testing and Quality Assurance Expertise focused on Web-based enterprise applications
* At least 3 years of hands-on leadership experience with test plan development, functional test automation, performance testing, and coordination of onshore and offshore testing teams
* At least 3 years of experience with Protractor and/or Selenium (or equivalent) and SQL/data verification testing
* Experience leading QA teams and projects
* Comfortable working in an agile environment and a history of building fantastic enterprise-grade products quickly and with quality
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Demonstrated strong cross-functional communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
* Experience defining and managing product quality KPI.
