Overview:

Will lead Quality Assurance (QA) computer systems and analytical projects on current SharePoint information programs and serve as a key individual contributor to QA project teams within a SCRUM team, which consists of in house and remote team QA associates, providing QA systems analytical support in an Agile development process. Will ensure standard quality practices/processes are followed by designing and implementing computer programs to automate or improve our existing systems. Will analyze, report on and track defects utilizing the TFS system, and conduct end-to-end testing on systems to ensure that business, technical, and functional requirements are met throughout the Software Development Lifecycle. Will design and execute test scripts based upon test strategy/plans in an effort to identify computer system defects prior to production, and analyze data processing problems to evaluate performance post-production. Testing will include manual and automated tests and Production Certification. Will also assist other SCRUM teams with tasks outside of SharePoint, including Large Projects and heavy QA needs by sprint. Will create, administer and distribute quality and efficiency metrics from technology services to demonstrate areas of growth and opportunity for the technology team. Will assure that all analysis and metrics produced are captured and retained within the SharePoint systems. Will participate in the QA components of the development of architecture and foundation for the transition from SharePoint and other applications to Microsoft Azure cloud services.

Requirements:

Position requires a Bachelor's degree (or an equivalent foreign degree) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a closely related field and five years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer. Must also have three years of experience (which can be gained concurrently with the primary experience requirement above) with the following: (i) working with SharePoint including SharePoint Farm administration and automated test architecture, (ii) quality assurance testing for SharePoint applications; (iii) working with PowerShell Scripting language, Jenkins Automation Server, Automation scripting languages including but not limited to C#, N-Unit, Selenium, HTML, Java Script and MS SQL Server (iv) TFS source code management server and services; and (v) Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Server administration, systems administration, online access points for users and reporting services.
