Job Description:

* Conduct design and code reviews and other engineering quality practices.
* Define, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scripts, test rigs for repeatedly testing networking products
* Construct test automation frameworks, reusable modules, and test tools such as CDRouter, Azmith, veriwave, DSLAM, and traffic generators.
* Conduct bug scrubs and driving issue prioritization through resolution, test design, development, execution, reporting, and defect tracking.
* Analyze test reports and results, test wireless networking protocols including 802.11, manage and create formal test specification, issue tracking, change management, reporting, and other SDLC supporting workflow management tools and processes.
* Test potocols such as DNS, FTP, Samba, SSH, DLNA and uPnP and advocate issues and explain user impact and quality related risks.
* Manage and test networking products and guide the offshore and local teams on necessary test strategy using understanding of embedded systems, WAN and LAN networking protocols, OSI model, and networking communication test automation
* Execute and debug test automation setups using knowledge of networking and test automation with scripting such as Unix shell, TCL, expect, Perl and programming languages such as Java, C++
* Test networking products with accuracy
* Test range vs rate and execute performance testing with networking testing tools such as ixCharriot, jPerft, Wireshare, and nmap
* Create effective test plans for testing networking products
* Create test strategy which is suitable for releasing products with high quality in an ODM model
* Thorough understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP), layers (3&4), communications (LAN/WLAN), services (DHCP, DNS, NTP, etc.), and algorithms (QoS and NAT)
* Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting experience for test automation creation and execution.

The minimum requirement for this position is a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field or the foreign equivalent, plus a minimum of two years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with an emphasis on Quality Engineering and Test Automation.
