Job Description

i360, the leading data and technology provider for the pro-free market political and advocacy community, is seeking a QA Automation Engineer. The QA Automation Engineer will be a key member part of our growing and sizable product development team -- working collaboratively with managers and engineers, you will create test plans, automated and manual tests, test code, test scripts and review and continually improve test plans and code design. Located in the Washington, DC area, i360 is central to how issue advocacy groups and political campaigns use data and technology. As a result, your work will be at the center of driving voter engagement in the upcoming campaign cycle and beyond. A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

* Collaborate with team members to assist in "defect prevention" as well as "defect detection"
* Working with developers to more easily create automated GUI, unit and integration tests
* Appropriate to each project, develop and execute test strategy, test plans, test cases, acceptance testing and test scripts
* Create automation scripts for all aspects of functional testing using industry standard testing automation products as required
* Helping foster an environment where automated GUI and integration tests complement developer unit testing in ensuring the quality of web and mobile applications
* Designing tests that clearly convey the business rules and code they are checking (i.e., Storytests or Automated Acceptance Tests), so that both business users and developers can understand the intent of the test
* Continuously asking questions of both developers and business users to ensure the test suite is comprehensive
* Performing manual exploratory testing of new and existing features
* Developing, creating, and executing performance test plans and test cases which reflect expected usage
* Assist in defect tracking and defect maintenance and perform defect root cause analysis
* Embrace continuous process and practice improvement
* Stay current with current trends in software quality assurance practices
* Be flexible and creative in handling multiple activities and contentions in priorities

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

* A Bachelor's degree in computer science


* 4+ years' experience in system level QA testing
* 3+ years' experience using one of the following for test automation: JavaScript, Python, Java
* 3+ years using an industry standard test automation product for web or mobile applications
* 3+ years in an Agile environment.
* 2+ years' experience with Source Code Management like TFS, Git or similar products.
* 2+ years Release Automation applications.

* Experience creating an automated test suite for iOS and Android applications


* Experience with .NET applications
