Job Description

We are seeking a hardworking, individual to join the Development Operations Team at MSK as a Quality Assurance Analyst (Web).

You will:

* Review functional and design specifications to ensure full grasp of requirements
* Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts such as harness scripts and automated scripts
* Create clear, concise, detail-oriented test plans, in forms appropriate to the feature being tested
* Execute functional test scripts and document results.
* Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
* Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.
* Build and improve on artifacts, tools, templates and approaches to work throughout the testing phase of the project life cycle
* Work with cross-department teams to understand needs
* Help evaluate and improve internal processes to improve our ability to deliver website features
* Use information gained through market and technology research to improve solutions and suggest enhancements actively
* Document processes and techniques for re-use on other projects

Qualifications:

* At least 1-3 years of software project experience, with some experience in agile software testing
* At least 1-3 years of experience with quality assurance analyst responsibilities
* Comprehensive knowledge of the principles and concepts of web-based software development
* Understanding of content management systems (CMS), such as Drupal, and the basics of web based applications and internet technologies
* Experience working with requirements, use cases, user stories, etc
* Superb verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to take a leadership role on projects and teams
* Ability to manage time across a variety of tasks and projects

Desired Skills:

* Experience with Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban
* Experience managing customer expectations and facilitating client interaction
* Understanding of business rules, leading to the design of applications
* Experience providing direct customer support and assistance
* Experience working with Blackbaud Luminate Online
