MetroStar Systems is looking for Quality Analyst as part of corporate quality team, to perform quality control and assurance activities for Census projects. * You have at least 1 year of software testing experience

* You have the ability to multi-task providing test services to many projects and process compliance initiatives

* You have strong proof-reading and editing skills using tools including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

* You have experience testing and remediating systems to achieve 508 compliances with tools like JAWS
* You have demonstrated experience working in an AGILE environment
* Experience with Application Lifecycle Management tools like TFS, MS Test Manager and JIRA
* Experience using MS Visio and Adobe Acrobat DC
* Experience in developing product test harnesses and instrumenting products to gather test results
* You have experience with the SDLC models like Waterfall, Agile like Scrum
* Ability to understand complex process needs and strong analytical skills
* You have development support experience including coding, bug fixing, testing, and documentation
* Test certifications like ISTQB-CTFL

What your day will look like:

As software tester,

* You'll test products and software applications developed for clients and in-house
* You'll participate in the test execution for web, mobile, SharePoint andmore, across multiple platforms
* Perform various types of testing including but not limited to functional (manual, regression and smoke) 508 compliance, mobile testing, security,load and performance testing
* You'll participate in work across several projects in a matrix environment, offering potentially different testing services
* You'll develop and maintain comprehensive system test plans, test scripts, documentation implement, and maintain test frameworks
* Perform defect tracking and management, prepare and submit testsummary reports



As process analyst,

* You'll create and maintain process assets (e.g. guidelines, policies, processes, forms, and templates)
* You'll handle document change requests, own and support enhancement of Policy and Process Asset Library and knowledge management activities.
* You'll facilitate process improvement activities by working with MetroStar leaders to document current processes and help improve them
* You'll support internal and external audits by documenting internal audit reports, managing findings of projects and departments for compliance and quality
* You'll support external compliance initiatives external ISO audits and CMMI appraisals

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for potential access to classified information. Accordingly, US Citizenship is required. >10% travel to client locations may be required.
