Based in Buena Park, CA, Studio 60 functions as an in-house creative agency for Yamaha musical instruments and audio/visual products.

Under the general direction of the Product Owner/Manager, the QA Specialist is responsible for hands-on quality assurance work within Studio 60. This involves reviewing functional requirements for "test-ability", writing test plans, writing test scripts and technical documentation. Executing functional, regression, and stress testing; managing issues within our in-house tracking system; and managing release cycles.

Here's What You'll Do:

* Perform manual functional and regression testing to support the software release process
* Participate in discovery meetings (and other relevant meetings) for web related projects
* Participate in the requirements gathering process and represent the end-user to ensure a quality customer experience
* Review and update business and functional requirements for clarity when creating test plans and user stories
* Review functional requirements for test-ability and clarifying with relevant stake holders as needed
* Coordinate with developers and project leads - defining tasks, estimating work, etc.
* Coordinate with technical staff in build process and release management
* Report and track issues using issue tracking software (JIRA or similar system)
* Create and update documentation for all QA tasks (Test plans, Test Cases, Summary Report, and Execution Log, Training documentation, etc.) as requested

What You'll Bring to the Table:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
* 3+ years experience in a quality assurance role
* Experience in testing an enterprise eCommerce platform(s) preferred
* Experience in SDLC, Agile/SCRUM & Waterfall methodologies
* Experience in functional, integration, regression, front-end, back-end and UAT type testing
* Experience with end-to-end testing of eCommerce websites
* Can write clear, concise technical and testing documentation
* Can communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical team member
