Job Description

This role is responsible for implementing Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V) in accordance with contractual requirements and in the interest of providing customers with the greatest experience possible with AWS services. This role works in conjunction with the Federal Delivery Organization to ensure all elements of the contract performance are known, managed, and delivered in accordance with existing task orders and contract modifications. This role works in close collaboration with AWS Service teams and operations to ensure regions are operated in compliance with contract performance criteria.

The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of AWS services and will possess sufficient technical skills to perform verification of functionality and integration of new services and features via the API, CLI and console prior to customer offer.

This candidate understands cloud computing technology in general, possess the capacity to readily learn and apply AWS unique technical capabilities, and communicate effectively among AWS and customer executive stakeholders to understand and negotiate future infrastructure (regions) deployments globally. Also, be familiar with AWS region technical constraints, minimum capacities and performance metrics, and how these constraints can be satisfied through existing contract terms and conditions, projected customer demand data, and our ability to deliver regions on a global scale.
