Enterprise Role Overview:

Focuses on the creation, maintenance and execution of test scripts and other specialty testing activities in the areas of automation testing, performance testing, test environments or application specialties. Is considered a subject matter expert in one or more of these areas. Identifies and develops ways to improve the quality, capability, or efficiency of the testing process. Typically focused on automating new functionality pre-release and maintenance post-release, or driving efficient testing in other areas. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience.

Job Specific Description:

Bank of America is looking to grow their automation testing capabilities in Plano, TX. The Test Automation Analyst will work side by side with development, DevOps, and QA teams to determine optimal test coverage and ensure high quality software is delivered to our customers. Utilizing QTP, TOSCA, and other tools to automate test scripts in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Maintain robust frameworks providing the foundation to allow iterative development. Enhance our automation testing capabilities with your technical aptitude and coding experience in our continuous improvement culture. Candidates requiring visa sponsorship will not be considered for this position. This role is located in Plano, Texas only. It is not open to telecommuting or remote arrangements.

Required Skills:

* Good hands on experience with QA Automation tools like UFT/QTP, Selenium, Cucumber, TOSCA.
* Familiarity with Web Services (SOAP/REST) and Database (MySQL/Oracle/SQL Server) testing.
* Exposure to various platforms and technologies like Java, .Net, Web, Mobile, ETL, Mainframe.
* Familiarity with modern development approaches like Agile/SCRUM/Lean.
* Good working knowledge of Test management tools like ALM, Rally, and Jira etc.
* Work with globally distributed teams.  
* Excellent communication skills and excels in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.

Desired Skills:

* Knowledge on tools like Bitbucket/GitHub.
* Agile Sprint Planning
* Financial Industry experience.
* Ability to configure and use Jenkins or similar continuous integration tool.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or applicable work.
