Looking to make the jump from manual testing into QA Automation? Know your way around some programming languages? This is an entry level opportunity to join a small team developing and automating regression test suites. We are seeking a talented individual to grow into a proficient QA automation engineer.

About the Role

The QA Automation Specialist role at Aquent is part of the team creating and enhancing web applications to support and provide online features to the internal staffing business, our job seekers, and our clients. You will join the Staffing Technology group, a cross-departmental team that includes product development, project management, design, and quality assurance. You will collaborate daily with a group of motivated people, with a common purpose, working in a highly specialized team.

Responsibilities

* Build automated tests for web applications across multiple websites.


* Take existing manual test cases and write automated test scripts.


* Monitor the continuous integration tests the team is responsible for.


* Work with crew members to quickly identify the nature of an automation failure.


* Debug and correct problems in the existing automation test code.



Experience

* 1-3 years of quality assurance experience with web testing.


* Some experience or knowledge of automation tools or programming languages, preferably Selenium WebDriver, Protractor, Ruby, Java, JavaScript and/or other open-source tools.


* Knowledge of QA Procedures and Methodology, and Agile / SDLC.


* Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.


* Ability to set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.


* Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; and


* Ability to successfully work independently and in a team environment, build peer-to-peer relationships; typically work with several departments in the organization.
