Location: New York, NY

Duration: 6 months Contract to Hire

Job description:

* Python Developer with demonstrated experience in software development involving microservice/serverless architectures, streaming messaging systems and both relational and NoSQL databases on top of cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS). A strong Python programming language (Python 3) and ecosystem is required as well as experience with DevOps and automation using tools such as Terraform, GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, and ECS/Kubernetes. Knowledge of Go and Kubernetes is a plus.

Python Developer

Team working on full rewrite of an application that has been architected to consolidate requirements for a buildout that would support millions of users that will be onboarded in future on this platform.

Building everything on AWS

Relying on server less technologies and container services

Build a product that will essentially save customers money on travel reservations.

Top skills

* Python Developer with exp on database development with both SQL and NoSQL, Connecting AWS libraries, AWS Terraform using Python
* Python 3 experience is a must
* Build APIs application
* Microservices experience
* AWS - Lambda, Fargate, DynamoDB, Terraform ( will also talk to candidates who have Azure or other cloud technologies)
* Knowledge of DevOps'
