Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Global Markets environment. Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs as well as support activities for the corporate systems architecture. Employees work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications. Employees are expected to have in-depth capital markets product knowledge, and manage a high level of risk. Employees typically have in-depth knowledge of development tools and languages. Is clearly recognized as a content expert by peers. Individual contributor role. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience. This job code is only to be used for associates supporting Global Markets.

* Responsible as part of a team for overall upkeep of trade capture and risk-based enrichment services applications in a shared technology environment.
* Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Global Markets technology environment.
* Design, code, test, debug and document programs as well as support activities for GTO within the Quartz architecture
* Work closely with business and technology partners in defining requirements for system applications.
* Expected to have some capital markets product knowledge/ risk evaluation flows
* Work with business/ technology partners users to support regulatory reporting requirements.
* Support the data requirements for various initiative programs for functions related to agreement assignment , trade capture and control function tooling
* Work with technology and support partners to help implement application stability, break fix, business continuity and application security requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (any) or related

Preferred to have 5+ years' experience

SKILLS:

* Must have experience in Python and/or other object orientated programming languages (C++/Java).
* Working knowledge of Distributed Computing Environment, concepts of Map Reduce programming paradigm, node based computing.
* Previous experience on Quartz (Bank of America) is a plus
* Must have experience working in the financial industry with weightage for front office/ risk/trade capture functions.
* Experience in programing in a Unix/ Linux environment
* Experience with performance and regression testing.
* Experience with some IDE (Eclipse/ PyCharm - others).
* Experience in implementing RESTFul services
* Experience in working in an Agile environment
* Experience/ working knowledge of distributed programming, grid computing, knowledge of graph theory is a big plus.
* Some experience with any kind of ETL is a plus
* Should have some experience in PL/SQL Development (any DBMS)
