Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Global Markets environment. Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs as well as support activities for the corporate systems architecture. Employees work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications. Employees are expected to have in-depth capital markets product knowledge, and manage a high level of risk. Employees typically have in-depth knowledge of development tools and languages. Is clearly recognized as a content expert by peers. Individual contributor role. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience. This job code is only to be used for associates supporting Global Markets.

Candidate will be responsible working on development and enhancement of FICC horizontal application "Supervisory tool". This application is used across FICC by Supervisors and BCO for monitoring trading activities and exception. Front end is built in HTML5 and backend in Python.

Job Duties:

* Work on improving the current architecture of the application by redesigning it in parallel to delivering committed items.
* Work with BCO's and Supervisors to gather the requirements
* Work closely with Front office users to gather requirements and perform requirement analysis.
* Design and develop software to implement new requirements like MAR reports, Worm compliance etc
* Improve the current architecture to make it more scalable and reusable.
* Work on enhancing existing software to meet regulatory requirements
* Manage on-shore and offshore team, make sure that work is delivered on timely manner
* Perform system analysis to evaluate messages, database and application performance and work Infrastructure team to get it updated.

Requirement:

* 5+ years of Python development experience is must have
* 2+ years of Java development is good to have
* 5+ years of Object oriented programming experience
* 2+ years of experience in Fixed income trading/risk management/p/l application development
* 2+ experience in HTML5 development
* Very good communication skills
* Bachelor in CS or equivalent work experience
