Job Description

The candidate will support PKI operations for a large government customer. This individual will be responsible for the following which includes but is not limited to two-factor authentication support, PKI certificate creations, recoveries, deactivation; and serve as a Global PKI Administrative LRA. The ideal candidate should excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and enjoy working with new technologies on projects with accelerated timelines, as well as be able to work independently with little to no supervision.

Education

AA Degree in related discipline and three (3) years of related experience or seven (7) years Information Technology experience; experience working in a Tier 3 support environment or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

* Proficient with various Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 7, Windows 10, etc.)
* Must have experience using Microsoft packages such as Office 2013, Visio
* Minimum two (2) year of PKI experience.
* Familiarity with call center ticketing systems;
* Work effectively in an ITIL Service Desk environment;

Skills Required

* Ability to issue and manage PKI certificates and two-factor authentication tokens.
* Provide log file checks and deviations from the standard operating procedures and for security incidents.
* Communicate findings to the involved local parties, provide workarounds and update procedures
* Execute certificate emergency management (revocation)
* Update and maintain PKI documentation, based on changes, fixes and updates
* Supports PKI migration projects by executing local task on behalf of project lead
* Expertise in supporting public key infrastructure, strong authentication, cryptography, and related security technologies;
* Integrate, test, and document the use of COTS security software. Effectively diagnose and solve complex problems with Operating Systems and COTS products;
* Possess a fundamental understanding of general IP Networking and Security technology and practices including ports, protocols and firewalls;
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on projects to completion;
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision;
* Assist in the development of procedural, training documents, and HTML content; may be called upon to perform PKI related training
* Track and manage TA/RA lists; may conduct appropriate training for local and site RAs;
* Familiarity with call center ticketing systems;
* Work effectively in an ITIL Service Desk environment;
* Provide excellent Tier 3 incident support to customers; resolving tickets efficiently and effectively in a timely manner;
* Demonstrated excellent analytical and problem resolution skills;
* Excellent verbal, written communication and technical writing skills

US Citizen (REQUIRED). Must be able to obtain a DOE Q Clearance or have a current TS/SCI clearance.

* Preference is to have a current TS/SCI clearance that can be transferred to DOE Q.
