Bell's Innovation Team is seeking self-motivated engineers with innovative spirits to reinvent the way the world flies. We are looking for a Project & Systems Engineer to support the rapid development of new and novel products and the continued advancement of vertical flight. This role will have administrative oversight of technical projects and responsibility for understanding how these projects fit into a greater ecosystem of product solutions.

Position Responsibilities:

The Project & Systems Engineer will plan, organize, and manage technical projects for experimental vehicles while ensuring overall requirements traceability, interface management, and risk management from conception to completion. The selected individual will work alongside a chief engineer and dynamic engineering team to:

* Capture and maintain product and operational requirements
* Create and maintain project plans, determine required deliverables and milestones, assign resources and estimate tasks.
* Manage and control testing, risks and contingency plans, budget, deliverables, and project changes.
* Collaborate with external suppliers, partners, and internal departments (multiple engineering disciplines, manufacturing, procurement, finance, IT).
* Coordinate design reviews, engineering changes and configuration management tasks.
* Verify and validate engineering designs with system models and requirements.
* Conduct systems modeling, operations analysis, and requirements decomposition for experimental and ideal-state products. Perform delta analysis between experimental vehicles and ideal-state product requirements. Facilitate planning and coordination of engineering hand-off from innovation team to future product team.

Qualifications:

Education Requirements:

* Bachelor of Science in applicable Engineering Discipline (EE, AE or ME desired)
* Master's degree preferred

Experience Requirements:

* At least 3 years of project management or systems engineering experience in the aerospace industry
* Experience with unmanned vehicles (UAV / UAS) preferred
* Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience preferred
* Computer programming experience preferred
