Job Description

Assists the IS Applications Manager and the end user in the research, planning, designing, and implementing of new systems or changes in existing systems to support an integrated healthcare information system.# The Project Specialist II may be assigned as either a project manager in support of a project or as a project lead providing both application analyst and project coordination functions.# As a project lead you could report for that project either to a project manager or the appropriate IS manager for the project.# The# Project Specialist II will interact not only with IS but with other MelroseWakefield Healthcare affiliates to utilize the project standard processes and project documents as is dictated by the project needs, working closely with the Senior Project Specialist.# May be assigned primary or secondary application support as needed, working side by side with the dynamic, highly functioning, and collaborative applications team. # Bachelor#s degree in related field preferred.# A combination of education, skills and experience will be considered. # #Requires minimum of 3 years# experience in a healthcare information systems environment.# Direct experience with supporting end users in MEDITECH or other EHR applications strongly preferred.# Experience with project management or supervision required.# #Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving and analytic skills required. Interpersonal skills necessary to facilitate meetings, design sessions, etc. with all levels of the organization. Dynamic, team player. Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment required.## Experience with popular PC based products such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Project etc. required.

Generally requires a bachelor's degree in related field. A combination of education, skills and experience will be considered.

Requires minimum of 3 years' experience in a healthcare information systems environment. Direct experience with supporting end users in MEDITECH or MSM applications required. Experience with project management or supervision required.

Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving and analytic skills required. Interpersonal skills necessary to facilitate meetings, design sessions, etc. with all levels of the organization. Dynamic, team player.
