The Project Manager I owns a project from kick-off to completion and guides internal teams to make sure requirements and processes are followed and deliverables are completed on time. The Project Manager I will provide regular updates on project progress to the Senior Program Manager and all applicable stakeholders and work cross-functionally to ensure that project resources and timelines are aligned with organizational priorities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
* Oversee all scheduling of resources and ensure timelines are met * Ensure projects priorities are clearly defined and develop and document project plans and schedules * Conduct project status meetings with cross-functional teams, appropriately elevating key issues as needed * Mobilize local and remote teams to deliver supporting hardware, software and services in sync with launch timelines * Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks, and change control issues that affect * the projects * Manage project change control procedures and processes * Guide internal teams in efforts to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency where possible * Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes * Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
* Bachelors degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience * PMP Certification (preferred
Experience:
* Experience interacting with multiple departments, internal stakeholders, and external vendors * Fundamental knowledge of project management principals and methodologies * 3 years of experience / works under supervision
